Council
The council is the apex body of the centre. It has overall responsibilities for formulating policies of the centre and it is responsible to the Syndicate of the University to justify the financial investment involved. The Council of the Centre is constituted as follows:

Co-ordination and Development Committee (C &D Committee)
The Co-ordination and Development Committee is responsible to recommend research capabilities and necessary logistics to develop in the centre, and to approve research projects as well as the various functions of the centre. The Co-ordination and Development Committee is constituted as follows:

Director
The Director of the Centre is the Chief Executive of the Centre. He/She is the leader of the research activities in the Centre. He/She also deals with the administrative functions of the centre. Dr. Ishtiaque M. Syed, Professor, Department of Physics, University of Dhaka is now the Director of the Centre.
