  • B.Sc.(Hons.) in Biochemistry in the year 1989(held in 1991) from the Department of Biochemistry, Universityof Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Present Position:
Principal Scientist and Head,Food Analysis and Research laboratory, Center for Advance Research Sciences, University of Dhaka, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh. From October 2010 to till date. The primary responsibility is to make the laboratory functioning and take MS,Ph.D.,M.Phil, student for research. Collect fund, write research proposal,organize seminar/symposium, Teach graduate students,training in Capacity Building,Conduct food safety course,published paper in peer reviewed journalsetc.

  • OJCB sustainable research for capacity building in Agriculture grant 2011-2014 projects entitled “Prevalence of foodborne pathogens in retailed street foods of Dhaka city and Hands on training to food Inspectors and Researchers at Field level to improve the situation.” funded 45,000 USD by UNU.
  • MAFF grant for detecting and recovering injured microorganisms in the food chain projects Funded for 3 years (FY2013-2016) and grant total 100,00,000 Yen. Member countries: (Japan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Philippines)
